I think you would come out slightly ahead. Your box used I think about $600 tops. That box begin 24" deep, maybe $2500 used top. I think I'm high, but not nuts on my prices. You will gain a fair amount of space. Thats just my opion, see what the other have to say.

To get a good idea on what it's worth, We'd need to know what model, overall condition and retail price is on the other box is to really get an idea on how to gauge how good a deal it is. Otherwise it's kinda guessing.

I'd get rid of the tiny box, trade for the KRL722 (if that's what it is), and if I needed more storage later, then look at buying something else.

Calculate the square inches, of yours, then his, and see how much space you are actually gaining.... Then do the same with the cubic inches.

Since they are both Snap-On it is really a numbers game of space, cost, mobility, and whether you are going to miss the lift top. Just my opinion.

If you got the cash I would jump on that quick. That trade is in your favor in my opinion.

Are you guys seriously telling him not to consider this? There is no comparison between these two boxs. This appears to be an older model krl722. This box is more than double the size of what you have now, and more than likely you can fit all your tools in the top two drawers.. This is a very good deal for trade plus cash on your end. As far as how much cash? Even at 1000 on your end your still getting a hell of a box you could sell and make money on, but im sure once you have it selling it would be the last thing on your mind.

The cranbery box is a $1,500 box. Yours is about a $500-600 box. Fair trade for both of you. I would do it. Your box is junk compaired to the quality of that KRL.

I think that's a fantastic deal. I'd take it. I've been looking for a 722/7022 or 1022 on and off for 8-9 months now. The last 2 722's I considered were $2500 (we were a few hundred apart) and $3500 w/SS top.
