Welcome to my little garage! Ryan, I thought you were joking when you said you were going to have a board just for garages....I guess not.
Here's my little work space burried at the back of my carport. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...088carport.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...2-22-06078.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...2-22-06069.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...2-22-06068.jpg -Jeff |
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Welcome Nimrod. Yours is one of the best garages I've seen.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! That looks more like a museum display. FANTASTIC! The colors, the textures. Do you realize that people get paid thousands to get things to look this good and you probably didn't try to do it on purpose.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Damn, I've seen pretty bad ass garages on here and yours in definitely one of the coolest. That thing just overflows with oldschool and I dig it!
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Wow that is a very nice garage :rocker: everything has a really cool old school sit down and grab a beer sort of atmosthere very nice
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Thanks. Here's a shot of my other little building I've got my woodworking tools in, and I'll probobly stick my louver press in to get it out of the way. I guess this would be were to sit down with a beer.

Re: Welcome to my little garage! Too cool. How old are the structures and what is the history behind them?

Re: Welcome to my little garage! Man that thing is awesome... I never saw it in the garage thread on that other board... :D
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Wow, very nice. I love the old school look. You have some nice rides there too.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! You have to have the only garage with a hard wood floor. It is really cool.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Wow those structures are amazing! We need to redo the exterior of our detached garage and am strongly considering going with the barn siding. Nice inspiration pics! Is that just transparent plastic sheeting for the roof?
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Without a doubt the most inviting looking space called a garage/shop I have seen on this board, and perhaps ever seen!
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Jeff, that's the coolest garage I've seen.....and I've admired it on the HAMB too. What's even cooler is that you're building a T like me!
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Gorgeous...
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Awsome, I can even here the banjo picken.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Very cool indeed! How well does the floor hold up to welding? :bounce:
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Where's the "finger"? :headscrat

Re: Welcome to my little garage! Man that is one SWEET garage:beer: I would trade my new garage for one like that.

Re: Welcome to my little garage! Very nice garage!!! dig the vintage look...
one note.. your flag should be displayed with the blue/star field to the left.. |
Re: Welcome to my little garage! You've got a nice garage and work area. You must be very handy to keep everything in good shape.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! That is probably the most bad-ass place I have ever seen.
Re: Welcome to my little garage! Do you get splinters when you slide around on the floor? (working under a car)
Re: Welcome to my little garage! i would kill for that finger statue! would look great at the entry to my property!
your shop rules, plus you have a knuckle! |
Re: Welcome to my little garage! I love the wooden floors ... looks great.

wow, your garage is like none i've seen before... very nice.......
I'm curious about your lighting. My garage is all natural wood interior, and it literally sucks up the light. I've debated painting part or all of it white'ish, but looking at yours has me re-thinking it. looks like you have "bulbs" at your conduit junction boxes and fluorescents overhead....... are you happy with your lighting? any secrets? or just "more watts = more light"........:shocking: one of my lights, it's now hard wired to a wall switch........... |

Re: Welcome to my little garage! I just noticed the stereo under the work bench.
Is it an older Marantz unit? If so, I'll have one just like it in my shop when it is built. |
Re: Welcome to my little garage! I just noticed this thread linked from the front page (thanks, Ryan)...and other than joining the rest of these guys in a "COOL GARAGE, MAN!", I am also left with two realizations.
1) No wonder the demand of old, weathered wood is so high. 2) I want a finger just like that!!:bounce: |
Re: Welcome to my little garage! curious to hear the build plans for the knuckle w/girder fork hanging from the ceiling? it's got the makings of a cool period drag bike or something. looks good hanging there too.
