My apologies if this has already been mentioned, but when hanging an American flag vertically like that, the field of blue always goes in the upper left corner.

Thanks to Porter Mufflers for turning me on to this one. I had a similar misunderstanding with the flag on my dorm wall in college.

My garage is about this same size, and about a hundred years old. Tons of character, but I feel totally unworthy when looking at this one.

WOW - I realized my mouth was hanging open when I felt the drool running out. Beautiful! I love the deck you built as well, tying it all together. Great style, I love all the character. Great job Nimrod!

I come back to this thread about once a year since it was originally posted. Love everything about this garage. Would really like to know or hear what's been going on over the paste several years. Any changes, updates, etc? Just too cool. Thanks for originally posting the photos and keeping it up for this long.

I love this garage! The old timber reminds me of some of the barns we had on the farm when I was a kid... Also of some of the (very) old hardware stores I used to visit with my Dad... Great job! Keep up the good work on your fantastic projects!
