Snap on Tool Cart

I was recently looking at a KRL1003 series tool cart.

$8800+ is a lot to spend. However, both dealers I have spoken to have said that they will work with me on the price.

I have heard there is a large markup on these boxes, and Snappy does occasionally stick dealers with boxes they don't want.

Does anyone know a reasonable price to offer? I will be paying cash.

I just bought a KRL1003, used for a year with stainless steel top, in excellent condition, for $ 3900. Look around locally before you blow that much money. My setup lists for over $ 9500 with the stainless steel top.

FYI, Snappy markup is 30 %

Id say wave $ 6600 in front of his face, and he should take it if he wants to unload it which most dealers have a hard time doing. He's still making close to $ 500 at that price.

As for the 1003 I would offer them 5k cash for it if I was looking for a new one...
As of the latest catalog the 1003 is a discontinued model! I paid 2800 for my 1003int used but it dose not have the ss top.

The KRL 1003 is the one that my Primary Snap on guy has (or perhaps is stuck with). I would like to buy one from EBAY but they always seem to be in California or New Jersey (anyone else notice this?) and my time is limited, so I can't rent a truck and run out and get it.
