Re: sale on this mid lift! Thoughts Please

I've been happy with my Bendpak mid-rise, but if your truck is a full size, forget about using a mid-rise with it. It would be fine with a small truck or cars.

Re: Which of these three compressors?

It's actually $250. If I can justify that, I'd go 300 more and get a two stage Bel Aire from ASE Deals.

Re: Which of these three compressors?

Well I went to TSC today. They were out of stock but gave me a rain check for the sale price. Went to Lowes today and they had a Kobalt with about the same specs on sale for $438, which was...

Re: Which of these three compressors?

I'll probably go with the IR, which is on sale this weekend for $550. Mainly because I can get parts for it locally, and if I use IR oil, they up the warranty to 2 years.

Re: Which of these three compressors?

Just got a Tractor Supply flyer and they have the SS5L5 this weekend for $799. That's higher than I wanted to go, but awfully tempting.

Re: Which of these three compressors?

Actually, my local Tractor Supply is where I was planning to purchase the IR, and HF was where I was going to get the Puma.

Re: Which of these three compressors?

If I need more power, I can go to my dad's house. This is just for the general wrenching at my house, so I can't justify the higher price. I'm not taking the horsepower serious, just the cfm, which...

Which of these three compressors?

All three are about the same price local except for the Puma which I would have to ship, and same specs and fit my needs and price constraints. Just wondering which will be better quality:

Re: Interesting difference on replacement MD-6xp

Probably should have said motor rather than pump. Good point. Glad to hear the CSM's are reliable. Certainly looks stout.

Interesting difference on replacement MD-6xp

As many of you have followed the thread where BendPak decided to send me a replacement MD-6xp I thought you might find this of interest. Both lift's tags reflect they were manufactured on the same...

Re: hydraulic quick disconnect

There is no safety lock cable. You have to lift the lift a few inches above the safety and a dog falls back allowing you to lower the lift.

Re: hydraulic quick disconnect

I don't think we have a Parker store here. We do have a Parker plant though. As far as farm supply, there's a TSC and a Co-op. Industrial supply, all we have is a small Fastenal store. It's a...

hydraulic quick disconnect

Bendpak is delivering my new MD-6xp scissor lift today. I thought it might be handy to install quick disconnects between the pump and the line to the lift. For those that don't know, this lift has...

Re: garage footwear

After an evening in the ER where my 3 year old daughter had to sit on the bed with me and watch me get stitches because my wife wasn't home, I'll stick with steel toes no matter what the weather.

Re: Driveway bridge ??

There's lots of creeks around here and most of the bridges I've seen recently are steel culvert with concrete poured over them.

Re: Got my BendPak MD-6xp, but is there a problem?

Bend Pak contacted me and is shipping a new lift my way. Last time I picked up at the terminal (an hour from my house). This time they are shipping to my door on a lift gate truck.
