Here's most of my 3/8 and 1/2" sockets. I think I've reached the weight limit on the HF box. Soon time for an upgrade

Re: Show your new tool arrivals

I've been looking at that ratchet for awhile now. Looks nice. As to the GP socket, I now have over 100 of them and love them.

Re: Show your new tool arrivals

No I thought it was a dual 80 head. Some people swap them out. As far as I know those ratchets aren't made any more. It must be NOS.

Re: Show your new tool arrivals

More info on this please. Did you put a Dual 80 head on an old handle? I have an FSLF936 (3/8') but, still need a TSLF936 (1/4")

Re: Channel Lock Disappointment

All of mine were tight like that when new. Put some 3n1 oil on them and that should help.

Re: cleaning greasy vises/tools - engine degreaser or brake cleaner?

The last vice I cleaned up I hosed it off when I had the p.w. out to clean my trailer. I wouldn't set it up to clean off a wrench but, you can't beat the heat for getting the grease off

Re: cleaning greasy vises/tools - engine degreaser or brake cleaner?

Hot/steam pressure washer. Turn it up to 200* and it melts the grease right off. Brake cleaner or oven cleaner for smaller things.
