Re: 72in Tool Box @ Rural King

Really hard to tell what the quality is for the RK unit - they don't provide much in the way of detailed product spec's.

Personally - I'd go with the HF unit with side cabinet - that is a pretty...

Re: lista roll away CL los angeles ALERT

Just my opinion - but it is rare that these Lista Cabinets come up for sale used around here. I'd be happy to pay $1250.00 for one - if it wasn't in very poor condition. Then yes, I'd be happy to pay...

Re: Toolbox advice???

Yes they do cost more !! - FAR more than the OP stated was in the budget and most likely the reason no one mentioned them.
Extreme 41 1/2" 11 drawer - $879.00
US General 42" - 13 drawer $359.00

Re: Toolbox advice???

To get the H.F. tool box home - you'll need a Pickup. Or a friend with a Pickup. HF can load it into your truck - and two people can unload it. My 18 year old daughter and I lowered it slowly off the...

Re: Harbor freight us general tool cabinets , looking for a Long term review

Just a reminder - the OP did also ask about Harbor Freight's offerings as well. Anyone used them for years?

Re: SF bay area Vidmar cabinet $300

Go get it is RIGHT. High quality and very desirable - as I recall - they sell for over $2,000.00 new.

I'd grab it in a heart beat - don't be surprised if it's already sold..
FWIW,
Carl B.

Re: New Deep Drawers for HF 13 Drawer Roll Cabinet

I'm pretty sure that is correct. Slight styling change on the drawers between the first and second generation of the matte finish - and now the shinny red.

The Drawers are shown in the "US General 13 Drawer Roll Cabinet Assembly and Operating Instructions. The second page of which is a "Parts List".

There they are simply identified as "Drawer B"...

Re: New Deep Drawers for HF 13 Drawer Roll Cabinet

You might still be able to order them from H.F. directly.
The long drawers {aprox. 23 1/2"} were only $18.30 each from HF
The short drawers {aprox. 13 1/2"} were only $14.20 each from HF

I'll...

Re: Painting HF Boxes

I'd take a drawer to an Automotive Paint Supply Store - they can scan it and mix up matching paint. Red's in automotive parts are relatively expensive... but worth it if you get the paint you want.
