I mow about 3 acres with a Scag Wildcat 61" deck. I bought it used from an equipment rental place for under a grand. Best money I ever spent.

I'm back to working on my cyclecar project. I've been working on the cowl. I still need to trim those sharp ends and roll the top edge over a 1/4" aluminum rod. Then the doors, hood, radiator shell....

It depends on what you are drilling into. The charts give drill sizes for 75% thread engagement. 6-32 is a tough one to tap because it is a coarse pitch with a very small diameter, therefore the taps...

I'm not sure I understand the problem but, if you would move the pin a bit in the direction of the handle and add a swivel caster some distance back to carry the weight as it shifts over the center...

I have the gray one form HF. It came with steel plates. I bolted a 14 gauge tray to the base to store tooling that I use with the press. Also added small casters.

Use a dial caliper as a marking gauge. No, not your grandfather's old Starrett, the 19 dollar one you get from Harbor Freight or Enco. The tips are plenty hard enough to use as a scribe.
