Default small westinghouse motor to drive joiner

I have an older Westinghouse AC motor 115volts/5 amps. The motor has 2 wires, one black and one red. I have a electrical plug I took off another worn out tool, plugged it in and connected the white wire to red and black to black. The motor started (shaft) turning immediatley, but black on black started to spark. I immediatley disconnected. The motor warns to make sure the motor in grounded. There is a green screw in conduit box (ground screw) I can't find? Any help how I can safely and hook this motor up to electrical source and ground motor?

Can you post a picture of the motor connections and the information plate if there is one? Hard to help without actually seeing the motor.
