One of my hobbies is wood working. Our daughter's twins turn two next weekend. We're heading up to Massachusetts to celebrate. I made them some rocking ponies.
The bodies are maple, the mane & tails are cherry and the saddle is mahogany. I got the plans in a "Woodcraft" magazine I found at the barbershop. And I didn't even have to steal the magazine - he gave it to me. Oct/Nov 2009 issue, full size patterns available here.
