I bought a refurbished Milwaukee M12 3/8" impact driver on Ebay a few weeks ago, I was using it with a Matco impact universal and something jammed while I was using it causing the ring on the anvil to bend out of shape when I forcefully removed the universal.

I sent Milwaukee an email regarding this yesterday afternoon and just got an email back from them stating that they have shipped out a replacement part, no need for proof of purchase, pictures of damage or anything on my part.

Nice to deal with a company that has no fuss warranty support. :)

they are a little slow sometimes, i took my 3/8 m18 impactor to my local milwaukee dealer/service center, i bought it as a refurb, and when i got it, the ring on the anvil was all bent up and the under ring was missing, in other words, it looked as if someone cut a paper clip and formed it around the anvil as the quick change ring.

anyway, the service center was out of the rings.

i asked them when they will get them in, and they called milwaukee in front of me, and milwaukee told them they wouldnt get this tiny little part for 1 month.

this was the beginning june, and i was told to bring the impactor in on july 8th, but, nonetheless, i went in the july 8th, they had multiple quantities of the part, the put the new ring on for me, and they gave me a replacement set of rings in case it breaks or wears(inner ring and outer ring).

I have a portable band saw that I have managed to break twice (Egay purchase). I am hard on the poor thing...LOL.
I had no issues getting complete rebuild at a local repair facility once here in St. Louis area and once in Cincinnati. Cost me my gas to their store.
