Bendpak has some similar parking products, not quite the same though. Around $5000 or so, still pricey but a bit less than the $8500 you mentioned.

Where are you located? I know a guy with 8 of these he's looking to sell. They're in pretty good shape (last I saw - especially since they were designed to stay outside). All you'd need to buy is a pump as his pump was intended to run all 8 at once.

I got the Harding Steel Lift to squeeze 3 cars (and a motorcycle) into my 2 car, low ceiling garage. It was expensive but it eliminated the need for major structural remodeling. I just had it installed a few months ago and I am very happy with it.

Yea Bendpak is a good choice as it way below what you willing to pay but still quality lifts.

Before committing to buying a lift you might not want measure you garage to largest area your comfortable with. Then base you decision on that. The benpak is alot less.
