Hey Now Garage Guys,
I'm restoring an "old" Craftsman tool chest and happened to stumbled across this site while doing some research.
I need some help identifying the model I happened to score and tips on doing the restoration. I'm not a garage guy and I'm not exactly restoring it back to factory condition. It's more like a fun "Art" project with some technology involved.
It's the standard issue Red I think from the 80's or 90's. The drawers don't have any black plastic clips, to release the drawers from the rails you need to lean on the frame clips (not fun) and get them to clear the rails.
It has a chest on top with a hinged lid, then a split set of flat drawers, 2 flat drawers, then a double height drawer.
The roller chest has 2 flat drawers, then a double height drawer, then a approx 12" open section below with a flip up front cover.
Sorry if this is vague, I have pics, not sure how to upload them here.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
~ hayduke
