I've been looking around, trying to find a Wera PZ/S Screwdriver, even if it's a set of two insulated.

I've been driving these screws continually for nearly five years, and never realized that there was a bit made for them until I read about them on the precision tools blog - D'oh!

I've found where I can order the bits, but as much as I would be using these, I prefer a dedicated driver.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

A combination Pozidrive/Slotted...
Forgive me for missing the obvious, isn't a Pozi set then perfectly suited to such use?

I need to go look in the motor controls at work and see if I can find some of these.

The bits I have that are labeled "PZ" don't seem to be anything more than Phillips of the same size (at least for the depth that I can seat them), and they cam out. Perhaps they were mislabeled...

I like to really tighten these terminals, regardless of whether they are for power or for signal. We even go back again the next day and tighten the power connections (usually with a slotted driver), as the copper will relax a little over night.

You can really lay some torque on these screws with these things, just be careful you dont break the terminal screw.

Thanks. I ordered the Weras from Chad's, should come in during the next week. Also sprung for the Wera XXL set; I should have gotten that from Chad's too, since the money I saved at Sears was a wash with the shipping charge.

/shrug - live and learn (hopefully).

If you google "wera pz/s screwdriver" these links come up and you can check out the stores that sell them. I don't know why they wouldn't paste as links here, but they appear about 1/3 the way down on the google results page.

These things are a dream. I had to cut off the insulation, since some of the screws I hit are in deep recesses, but they are the perfect fit.

My coworkers are loving them, too. I need to convince them to get their own - or the boss to order some for the shop.

Are your bits labeled P2 possibly??
