The Mac guy came by my office today and dropped off the new flyer. Lots of shiney tools to ogle and a few pretty decent deals to be had. On page 11 I found this:

An inspection mirror with an LED on the end of it! It may be old news to some of you, but it was an epiphany for me. I've needed something like this for years, just never thought of how easy it would be.

It should be here next Friday on the truck. :bounce:

Nice idea. Now I will just have to go out and modify one of my old mirrors. There are certain advantages to being an ex-LED lighting engineer.

wow, i can't abuse the tools even worse to make bolts and nuts look worse that will make clients be mad or upset about it... :wtf:

I run a junkyard so its all about removing parts quickly I don't abuse quality tools but I have a collection of junk import tools(from auctions and swap meets) for pounding on nuts and bolts.

Oh damn! i am understand that you dont have "impact" sockets... it is total different now. i was thought you dont have metric sockets... but you already had "chrome" sockets.... how can you make mac tool guy stop by your office? my snap on, matco tools will not stop office as they will make person to meet them at someplace like gas station which i can see my snap on guy stop by gas station next by my work so he can have other person come in for buy tools or warranty (i was noticed he do some business with other person who refused to buy from other snap on guy) :wtf::headscrat

Well I have many good brands of tools as I buy most of them from pawn shops and fleamarkets, but yes I do have quite a bit of mac now that I have a account.

My mirror was delivered today. All I've got to say is WOW! This thing is a beast. The mirror itself is probably 2 1/2 inches in diameter, the handle is quite beefy and the shaft extends to about 30 inches. It is very nice quality and well worth the money.

I am going to have to get one of those mirrors, they would definitely be handy. Deafautotech, I usually make payments on the truck because anything under $500 he doesn't charge interest.I figure since most of the time he charges list price, I may as well hang on to my money instead of paying him all at once. He did knock $100 off my toolcart since I am paying cash.
