Its a rental. We're not here for long. Its my first garage, and I'm happy about it. I've done a whole bunch of work on a driveway, so I'm happy to finally have a roof over me when I'm doing work. Probably 5 suspension swaps, Clutch jobs, etc in a driveway will make you appreciate a roof.

You guys have way cooler stuff than I do, so I'm not trying to impress anyone here.

What I am doing is saying thanks for the terrific information on this site. I worked a bunch, got some overtime, and bought the PI torque wrenches that everyone talks about here. I got the gearwrench flex ratcheting wrenches. The lowes compressor deal was great. Big thanks for the Milton V info. I bought other stuff, all on the information on this site, and its made my work better and easier.

It may not be much, but its mine. Thanks for the information, GJ. You really let me maximize my purchases and made my jobs much better.

Just wanted to say thanks and share some pics.

Before organization and after I purchased some stuff from reading info on here, like the PI torque wrenches, compressor, etc.

Here is the after shot. Since its a rental, I did not want to install a bunch of stuff drilled into the walls. A sheet of plywood I already had gave me a makeshift pegboard to put things on. I did have to buy a $5 box of screws, though, and a magnet strip. I really like that knipex pliers wrench.

Low budget screwdriver holder. Most of them are made in USA Stanleys. Not as cool as ones I've seen on this site, but I'm happy with them. Really like that Lisle clip remover.

Yep, that's 2 restaurant gastronorm pans. They were given to me for free. I put the electronic stuff and a few really low use stuff inside of it. Not the best, but it works.

I was given the SK flare wrenches. Bought the big SK 24 inch breaker bar and the scanner on an advance deal. Really love these PI torque wrenches. Excellent. Used the 3/8 the day it arrived.

My good old 155 piece Cman set. Updated the ratchets, and have some extra odds and ends inside. Lots of work done with these tools. This stuff was before any time here.

Air tools. Some new, some hand me down. I bet you can figure out which is which.

You have a good start and to tell the truth have it well organized. Especailly compared to mine. It is so nice to have a garage that you can work in instead of in the driveway dirt.

Having just transitioned from a gravel driveway to an enclosed space with a roof and a floor, I congratulate you!

heh. Hand me down. I'm not cleaning it, either.

Thanks. I must have an organized work environment. And, yeah, I'm not going back to driveway dirt.

Another fellow brother. I see some peoples setups on here, and I'm blown away. I used to have a bunch of tools and fluids stashed inside in various locations. Just setting up would take a half hour to an hour. Now I got a roof, air tools, and everything there, ready to go. Rain? Who cares? :bounce:

When you have been working in the driveway all the time and you finally get into a garage, I remember when It happened to me, there is nothing like that feeling of walking into your own shop!

Congrats!
