The tale of a man with quests, and visions, to be worked on...

I will copy the same thread I posted in the "introduce yourself" section:

Hi, I live near Montreal, and wrench on WC VW's and some sport bikes too
I am presently builing a 550 sq ft detached garage (took away the pool) in my back yard.

I had to upgrade, because my present garage is a single car, situated in the basement, with an inclined driveway; I am closing that off, and making it into a shop, for machining & welding.

The project last week: It is now insulated, electricity is passed, gyproc installed, and a 2 post lift is in bay #1 .

The Yellow 441 is a 1989 reverse cylinder TZ250, and the other race bike is a 1985 Honda RS250W ; the same model that Freddie Spencer won both, the 250 & 500 Moto GP championship in 1985. Spencer had a Honda works bike, and mine is the privateer model...

Finished the last coat of paint sunday morning.
Waiting on the garage door tracks to show up (having them custom made, so they follow the cathedral ceiling roof line)
Electricity is getting finished on Tuesday, after the garage doors get installed, I can heat up the garage to get the concrete warm enough for the SW 1000HS floor epoxy

Looks like you are well on your way to having a great space.

I do have to ask though, if you are in the tooling business, does that mean a Garage Journal discount for us in the future? ;)

Scored a Sovella cabinet (made in Finland) 9 drawers for 525$ with the lift truck base :)
Had to start working on the cars, as the race season is starting and I have a trip to Cincinatti with the street Rocco...

Pics, garage is still under contruction, but toys arte finding their place anyways!

Those are NICE VW'S Makes me miss my Rabbit I had it was the same color silver as your's. I kick myself every day for selling it :( Great shop also !!
