Never noticed any smell in the store, but then again I don't pay much attention to smell unless it is pretty bad. Of course the kids tell me that I can't see because I'm fine with regular TV instead of HD, about any beer is OK with me so I don't have good taste buds and about any radio is fine since all I care about is a little background noise.

If it's anything like the smell in Princess Auto (kind of the Canadian version of HF) my best guess is it's from the cheap rubber tires and such or the release agent used to get all the crappy plastic out of the molds. My wife won't even come in anymore. . .give's her a headache.
I've been reading about these nice little tool carts and the US General boxes. . . might have to make a road trip south one of these days and stock the garage!

Not to worry....six months from now you'll have bought pretty much everything they have in the store.....just because "it's on sale!!" and then you'll only go when you actually need something.
