I don't think that is real light, a lot of double bay 40"s are only 240 lbs or so. Not being a big name tool box, honestly, $100 for normal used condition. If it is mint, I would go as high as $350 and be prepaired to take less.

There is nothing wrong with the Westward brand, I have used ALOT of their tools in industrial applications daily.

That being said, don't base any prices off Acklands website. That place is and has always been a rip off.

Box is a pos. I called acklands and they told me it sells for 1175 cdn. What do you guys think i should list it for? Its still in the box.

Brand new, hell try for $500, you can show the sell that new is over a grand. To most people over half off for new it the box will seem like a deal.

Two ways to look at it:

The closest comparable Mastercraft box I saw is $700 regular, so it probably sells for $350 on sale. The Westward box is a tad bigger, might be a tad better. So I'd peg a value at $400-500.

If Acklands-Grainger quotes 1175 list price, I think 40-50% would be their best wholesale price. That puts you around $500-600.

So $500 is a good figure. Even though it's new, you might have to discount it to sell it, but easier to drop the price than increase it...
