Some stuff from the last week or so.

- Hultafors axe handles from the local hardware store.

- Small Stanley vise, Cocraft 600mm bolt cutter, Cocraft 50mm and 100mm c-clamps. The Cocraft stuff is chinese and with a 10 year guarantee. No COO on the vise. All from the local Clas Ohlson.

- Scotch scissors from ebay.

- Small hammer with extra heads and miniature-file handle. All from ebay.

R-tech take a good quality Chinese machine then remove the guts and put Siemens internals in, they're very good. I don't have any complaints about any aspect of quality of my machine. I'm very happy with it.

Miller welders are hugely expensive outside North America.

You betcha, 4 times the price here for Miller/Lincoln. Not a huge choice either, mostly 3Phase stuff 380V. Shoddy service, sales people knows nothing, unwilling to help.

With the R-Tech, very personal service, free delivery, 3 year warranty on everything. They even tested the TIG prior to delivery. Filled the cooler and gave extra distilled water for top off. Others locally are very happy with the R-Tech. Quite a few International big companies use R-Tech i the UK, like Rolls Royce and Morgan.

I think they're great, i couldn't find anything as good for the money when i bought mine. (used) They guy i bought it from is a welder by trade, and he also felt it was the best machine all-round without spending crazy amounts.

I buy consumables from R-tech, they're very helpful and always offer great service.

Miller's the same here, only giant 3-phase industrial welders, which turn up on the used market for insane prices.

Snappy dead blows, locking pliers, and extractor set (sadly they put a sticker on them instead of stamping the case)

Yeah Miller is hugely expensive even inside America but I don't ever worry about a board frying or lack of support

Good luck with yours though, post up your welds

Who was clearing out the Industrial? That wrench set looks like a great value at that price.

This was on sale at HD for $99. After discount and tax I was out the door for $95

For those who are curious, Drill made in mexico, batteries made in Japan, Charger made in Thailand, and the case was hechoed in the USA.

All new to me will be all sold eventually for a client retiring. I will be putting his mint KRL-7023 Burgandy 3 bay 20 drawer box up for sale soon here in the classifieds. All other tools I choose to sale elsewhere!
