Looks great, and makes me jealous. I've been looking at scissor lifts b/c I don't want to deal with 2 giant metal posts eating space around my daily drivers 24/7/265, and for most of my work it would get the job done just fine.

There may be a simple answer to this that I am not considering, but in the event you had some sort of failure of the hydraulics and the lifts were stuck flush with the concrete, what would you do at that point? How would you remove them for repair?

There is about a half inch of space on the sides. I would just slip in a sling and lift them up. They lock in place like a ratchet mechanism so you just need to lift them up. Not really a big deal.

Aw man I want one soooooo bad!
Gotta buy a 48V battery for the fork lift first though... That's gonna set me back for a while.
Nice to see the guy from ever eternal on this thread. It makes it all more legit for me ,having dealt with China before.....
When it's time to get one, perhaps a few of us Canuckians could get together to make it a little less painful in the pocket when we clear the border.

I also prefer group buys~~~

how is it to import this lift into the usa ??

Jeff

If you are from USA, try to send me a email to [email protected] with below informations: Name, Address, Phone
Then I will help you calculate the cost to ship to your city.
We will afford all the process to ship to your city. When it arrive, you need to clear the custom and take the lift back to your workshop.
That's the basic way.

I used an engine hoist that I borrowed from a friend. Had to be careful not to roll a wheel into the pits, but it worked out fine.

My recent Garage lift progress photos

Hey guys. It has been a while since I have reported here.
I have lifted my cummins off the ground if only slightly, and I have just had the floor done with Porcelain Tiles. I got these tiles at Lowes on clearance for
.060 cents per foot. They were even a grey colour to match the lift and grey colour scheme in the garage.
Here are some pics.

Duane

Sorry the photos of the lifted Cummins will not load. File size to big on my iphone.

Re-starting this Thread. I've got an EE6503 installed by Phil Holden last year. I can't reach him today and wondered if others might be able to assist.

Problem relates to first safety stop [at 20" level] Sometimes the DownII button will not activate the final lowering. No pneumatic pistons activate, leaving the teeth engaged, and therefore no lowering occurs. I can remedy by lifting the platforms a few inches, then when lowering, immediately hit DownII button before it settles on the safety teeth./

I noticed in the DownII postition, the main platform [teeth] do not fully seat on the (even after synchronizing using the ball valve}. It seems like the pneumatic release of the secondary side is not actuating {maybe because the main teeth have not fully engaged?} and that sends an error message preventing the system from lowering further. What is the pneumatic operating pressure of the system? The gauge inside the cabinets reads 0.3 bar, but that is only about 5 psi. It that enough pressure to disengage the teeth?
