Hello, all!
I recently sealed my garage floor with a gloss acrylic sealer. Job turned out well.
I use the garage as a woodshop primarily, and not a garage. I want to put some mats down (easier on the knees and feet than concrete) but don't want them to stick to the floor and lift the acrylic sealer coats. I also have a heavy treadmill in there, and some shop equipment on caster wheels, like a table saw.

I am hoping to keep this sealer in good shape as long as possible--couldn't afford epoxy right now. lol
Any advice on what sort of mats to use would be greatly appreciated. My research has turned up conflicting suggestions--some say only vinly will adhere and cause damage through pull-up, other folks say even mats with 100% rubber will do the same. Some say that even the plastic floor protectors screwed into wooden table legs will cause problems.

All suggestions welcome, folks.

talking about mats, Sticky mats are also quite useful and are designed to collect contaminant particles from the soles of your shoes. its used in the places like computer rooms, hospital, labs, manufacturing offices.Sticky mats are placed in a position that requires the person to take at least 2 steps on the mat.

BLT garage floor mats have been used for this purpose for over a decade. BUT you need to make sure your floor is 100% completely cured and not the least bit sticky. I would also suggest rolling the mat up and cleaning out underneath it once in a while.

For standing and working at my workbench, I bought thick rubber mats from a restaurant/bar supply house. These are about 3/4" thick and have holes in it for dirt and anything you drop to instantly settle there rather than bounce and roll all over the place. You see these behind a bar where the bar tender is standing. Easy on the feet, easy to clean, and makes standing there working a lot easier on the feet and knees. I have been very happy with them.
