Well, rats. That's frustrating. Thanks anyway for humoring me.

Also just had someone in the vintage toolbox thread quote eighteen photographs just so he could add two lines of text. At 1280 x 1024 resolution, which I imagine is pretty common, I had to press the Page Down key nineteen times just to get to the end of his post. That's just beyond silly. I'll PM him, but who knows how it will be received.

Ryan - if you are reading this - please do not forget about us. Maybe you can enlist a trusted friend with VB experience to help implement this.

He replied, and apologized - said he had no idea he had even done that. Which I think is probably typical, and a good indicator of why changing the way the forum works will be easier than changing the behavior of many thousands of people using the forum.

The pig is quoted.

I have noticed if you log into www.garagejournal.com, pics hosted at garagejournal.com will not show up, and vice versa... which may explain some of the login issues some people have.

I have seen that, I log in once on garagejournal.com (such as at work) and find a thread with pics... if I click the pic, I see it's a link to an image at www.garagejournal.com yet I have to login again to view it (but my login session at garagejournal.com is still valid). I suspect that's what you saw.

Looks like a cookie domain issue, the cookie domain should be garagejournal.com and not automatic.

But they are not going to change the forum. . . That's the problem. If everyone took the time to fire off a polite PM when they see it hsppen, it wouldnt take long for alll the users to get the point. If the government won't fix a problem, the people have to. . .:p
