After needing to bend down to walk under my 34 Pontiac on my lift so i decided to pop the ceiling in my garage. 4 days later it is done except for final mud coat, sanding and paint.....
9' x 14' and 20" tall, 10' 3" ceiling to 12' coffer

Started with this...

Both look good. I did the same for mine about 5 years ago when I put the lift in my shop.

Great use of space on all "custom" ceilings !!

OP (Vettesplus), I see you have forced-air ducts distributed across attic to perimeter of garage. That's too nice!! What HVAC system do you have, and is that attic mounted as well??

Curious why no vapor barrier that I can see installed before the bump-up was sheetrocked over in ceiling. . . why not??

yes i have a 92% forced are furnace mounted in the attic, vented to 11 different locations around the perimeter of the garage. no reason for vapor barrier in garage that is not under living space.
