I hear ya. In my experience the service you get from tool trucks (or Sears) is directly proportionate to how you treat them/pay on time. Walk into Sears with attitude and you get ****. Three weeks behind on tool payment? Don't expect Snap On man to lose sleep over your bent screwdriver.
Not talking about you just saying in general.
oh i know, i agree with you 100%.
it's just one of those things that makes you shake your head at the people who keep up these typical threads though.
"oh no, sears put a note in this box that says we will not warranty this item". and apparently gearwrench, snap-on, and other popular manufacturers have the same warranty standpoint, but don't stick it in with the tools, they let you figure it out later after it breaks. then you get the play the guessing game to find out if it can be replaced or not by the good will of the person you are talking to.
