Was at the dentist the other day and found myself eyeing up the light that they have mounted to the ceiling on the adjustable arm for inspecting your mouth. I got to thinking how great that might be over the workbench- can be pushed up out of the way when not used and directed on the spot you're working at when needed. Has anyone seen or use one for workshop use, or even repurposed an actual dentists' light?

A friend purchased one off of ebay! Used are a little $$$$, would have thought they would have been cheaper considering they have been installed for many yrs!

They look sort of cool, but I'm not sure I'd want to use my garage much if it reminded me of visiting the dentist. I bet the bulbs aren't cheap...
