Most blower motors I see have a receptacle fitting where a plug is moved to the desired speed. Usually mounted on the motor. Mine came from Grainger and has 5 speeds.

Depends......is it a belt drive or direct drive fan?

If it is a belt drive, find a smaller pulley for the motor, and a shorter belt.

That should be a larger pulley for the motor and a longer belt
also look to see if the motor pulley is adjustable loosen the set screw and move in and shorten the adjuster bolt on the motor

Exactly, but be aware that if you have a 1/4 HP motor on there it is real easy to overload it, especially if it runs continuously or has long cycles. After the motor runs for 15/20 min. or so and you cannot hold your hand on it comfortably you are working it too hard.

You can reduce the fan pulley size also.
