First time posting on The Garage Journal Forums!
I am contemplating installing RaceDeck in my 3 car garage that measures 32 x 24.
The garage floor has 2 floor drains in the center of the floor/doors. One door is a 16 foot 2 car door car and the other is 9 foot 1 car door.
The floor slopes towards each drain and has somewhat of a crown in the concrete floor between the drains, obvioulsy to have any water in the middle of the garage floor slope towards one of the 2 drains.
The questions that I have are:
1. Will the RaceDeck flooring tend to pull apart in the areas of the crown and the low spots near the floor drains?
2. Which RaceDeck tiles, if any, would work better in the areas mentioned in question #1... 12 inch or 18 inch?
3. Assuming that the tiles will not pull apart, will the high and low spots created by the necessity for the drains make the RaceDeck floor look .... funny....for a lack of a better word?
Any comments, suggestions or pictures of anyone that has installed RaceDeck in a similar situation to mine would be appreciated.
Thanks
