As car shows go, somebody mentioned it earlier, but "A Car Is Born" is an EXCELLENT show. I used to get it when I had digital cable (it's on Discovery Home & Leisure, I think), and it is quite possibly the best "car show" I've ever seen. There are also offshoots, Bike is Born and Plane is Born---they show builds, lumps and all. The Car Is Born series documenting the rebuild of an XKE was one of the most interesting few hours of television I've ever watched. HIGHLY recommended. |

I'm shocked that no one has mentioned "Victory by Design"!
Some of the footage of those classic restored and original cars being driven correctly by a great driver are truly art. I hope they put them out on blue ray. I am pretty sure they were actually filmed and not taped so the quality should be there for HiDef. http://www.shopspeedtv.com/catalog/c...vd-accessories http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_by_Design Car Porn at the highest level.

There used to be a show called American Muscle Car or something like that, I loved it. And I agree that Jesse on Extreme 4x4 was hot, she's the only reason I ever watched the show.

HorsePower is ok but I liked it better Chuck Hanson.
MuscleCar seems to be all about the body and paint now. Liked Joe Santiago better. Jesse was more than eye candy. Ian does a good job solo though. TwoGuys is an info commercial. All the shows assume you have a money tree out back.
