There is another sight that I am a member of and they have this feature so you can weed/Rat out the dead beat non paying losers or the ones with poor marketing skills AKA "Yea man its almost brand NEW, only used it once, Honest!!"...... when you get it, that's a hole different story.Well you get my point, and you can also give :thumbup: to the honest people that work for what they deserve. This is a copy of there forum rules and I hope that its O.K. that I post it.....if not the mod. will let me know.
Welcome to the Buyer/Seller Feedback Forum. Below you'll find the rules for posting in this forum. This forum is fully moderated; meaning that posts must be reviewed by a Moderator before they are displayed. Therefore, your feedback will not immediately show up once you click the submit button. This forum is only visible to online members with buy/sell privileges.



"Feedback Forum Rules:
  • Only one thread per member (buyer/seller). If the Buyer or Seller you are providing feedback to already has a thread, simply make a reply within that thread to provide your feedback. Please make an effort to determine if a thread already exists by sorting the forum as described at the bottom of this post.
  • Subject line shall only include the member's screen name, nothing more.
  • The body of the feedback post must contain only one line, selected from the list below (copy and paste) Do not deviate except as noted below:
    • Authorized Buyer Feedback:
      • I bought from this member. I was completely satisfied in every way with the transaction. (POSITIVE)
      • I bought from this member. I had issues with the seller that were resolved to my satisfaction. (NEUTRAL)
      • I bought from this member. I had issues with the seller that were not resolved to my satisfaction. (NEGATIVE)
    • Authorized Seller Feedback:
      • I sold to this member. I was completely satisfied in every way with the transaction. (POSITIVE)
      • I sold to this member. I had issues with the buyer that were resolved to my satisfaction. (NEUTRAL)
      • I sold to this member. I had issues with the buyer that were not resolved to my satisfaction. (NEGATIVE)
  • You may provide multiple feedbacks per thread, however only one feedback per transaction is allowed. You may append words to the authorized feedback above to show multiple transactions. Example: "I have bought from this member on multiple occasions. I was completely satisfied in every way with all of the transactions. (MULTIPLE POSITIVE)"
  • No rebuttals will be allowed.
  • Retalitory type feedback will result in loss of posting privileges.
  • Members may start their own feedback thread, but obviously can't provide feedback on themselves. Simply start a thread with your screen name as the title with "this is my feedback thread" in the body of the text.
  • Threads/Replies not adhering to these rules will be modified to conform or deleted during Moderator review.
To help in finding a feedback thread for a specific member, use the Post Sort options at the bottom of the forum index to sort by subject (screen name). Be sure to choose "all dates" for the sort time."

Can't say I've needed feedback here.Haven't found any sellers to be intentionally dishonest or misleading.I've bought a lot of stuff in the classifieds and had zero issues.

You can accomplish the same thing using the "quick post" feature. Just go to the OP's original ad and state you impression of the transaction. That way everyone gets to see it, and if there's a differnce of opinion both sides can present their side of the story.

SO FAR it's been almost 4 yrs and no issues.Most guys usually post a positive review of the transaction in the original for sale thread.So Far that has been working for me.That and not being stupid enough to buy things off new members who aren't known on the board.Common sense goes a long way when buying from the classifieds.Once you've been here for more than a couple months you'll get to know the regular sellers and that they are all pretty great to deal with.I usually just avoid dealing with guys who haven't been on the board for at least 6 mths.

Seems like a bunch of extra work for the Mods to have to review every post before it's posted.Can't see it happening.Hell,we can't even get threads stickied after multiple requests from many members or have additional sections on vehicles added after many requests.What makes you think the mods have time to review every post to a feedback thread?
