There are several great internet woodworking forums that have been active for years. (I visit them from time-to-time when I need some experienced advice.)

Why try to start another one here?

(Anyway, I think most of the guys here are gearheads.)

There are those of us who read both, this board has ALOT of talent.. why not let those who do it all showcase their work, offer tips..

heck i do woodworking in my garage :)

I to, am an avid woodworker. I'm not sure it would substantiate its own area, but that is up to the Admins of the site.

One of the things that brings me to this site is the generality of a shop. It may have a 32 ford coupe in it..or a 32" flat screen..or a 32" wide keg-o-rator. "THATS" what makes GJ what it is. Well, that and the members themselves.

Without the members, we couldn't see the coupe OR the keg-O-rator :thumbup:
