I was in the produce section of a local supermarket and I noticed that they used a rough textured grayish black tile around the display cases where there was a chance of a wet floor. Anyone know what it is?

probably VCT with textured surface. Armstrong, Congoleum, Azrock, etc all offer the textured tiles. I've considered putting it in my garage since the texture and color choices are superior to the standard VCT tiles.

But here's the catch - Lowe's can order whatever color of Armstrong Standard Excelon for 68 cents a sq ft - but these higher quality tiles run double that or more. Congoleum has some nice ones that I liked but the cost was over $2 per ft.
