I just got back from AA. Got the following
2 pc ratchet thumbwheel
3/8 stubby ratchet
10pc. 1/4 socket set with holder
aviation ships
Everything was 4.95/each. so I was out the door for $20 and a smile. I did notice what another posted said in that everything that was cheap was priced at **.95.

I stopped at a store in New Brunswick, NJ this afternoon, not much there as far as selection goes. I found two empty cardboard boxes that once held some socket sets sitting on the bottom shelf empty. There was a tag hanging in front of a five piece ratcheting set of combo wrenches on sale for $19.99. I took a 3/8 drive 6 pnt. set of metric sockets up to find out how much, not on sale, $27 or so, the same price as the shelf tag.

Basically all of the stores near us including most in PA are already sold out, I bought a bunch of stuff, but haven't been able to find a 10mm long wrench to complete my set.

Just stopped into my local Advanced a few minutes ago. Shoul dhave got their several days ago.
Sales guy I always deal with informed me that they were not getting rid of the Gearwrench brand all together. They are however getting rid of the Gearwrench combination wrenches. Not the ratcheting wrenches or anything else.
I did pick up an entire set of metric long's 14mm-24mm (all that was left) for $21.00 after all the discounts. They had them marked 50% off and then 50% off that. He said the other day he had a 2 tables full of wrenches marked down.

I went today with the coupon but nothing on clearance.
Since I was there I still picked up the metric 8 pc ratcheting combo wrench set. The first time I've seen Gearwrench up close. They are nice

I picked up 3 screwdrivers ($1.75 ea.) including a 12" one. No idea what I'll do with a 12" screwdriver, but it was cheap so....
Also got a 13/16 swivel sparkplug wrench-$4.95. Shown at $19.95 @ Sears.
Weirdest thing was some stuff was marked down, some wasn't. Like a 9mm wrench might b $2.95 and a 10mm wrench $8.95. Slotted screwdrivers on sale-Phillips weren't. Seemed to be no rhyme or reason.
According to the counter guy, Danhmar is going to private label for AmPro-same tools, just with the AmPro label. Remember-this is according to the counter guy, so take it however you want.

If you're still looking for some stuff, they lowered the prices again...
15 pc wrench sets are now $9.95
Wrenches from 24 and below are at $0.95 each and anything bigger are $1.95
I had a friend run all the Sku #s and its true. Unfortunately all the stores in my area are out, but, some of you might have another chance.... GL
