Get a Mohawk. It's really stout. I've had one for 16 yrs in my home garage with lots of use and love it. It costs a little more, but I feel safe when I'm under it.

I've got one from these guys....a 4-poster rated at 8,000lbs. Nice quality, solid locking system, free-standing, portable if using the wheel kit...I bought it just before their re-organization.

If your looking for 100% USA Made, just look for a really expensive one that probably isn't worth what they are asking for it

I have a Rotary 2 poster A10i-RA asymmetric with 10k lbs capacity. Made in Indiana. I use it for hobby activity. Installed it myself about 2 yrs ago. No issues so far. Love it. I have a Rotary 4 poster also but nothing beats the 2 poster when working on vehicles.

I've since sold the house in the pictures, and it was in the contract that the lift DOES NOT STAY WITH THE HOUSE!!

Bend Pak lifts are assembled in the USA. Their components are made offshore.
Superlifts is out of business to my knowledge. Edit: guess not (www.superlifts.com). I see 'made in USA' but that doesn't mean the steel is from the USA - just an FYI.
Mohawk make unbelievable lifts - that are complete overkill for any shop not lifting gigantic trucks. I believe they start at about $15K
Backyard Buddy - claim to us USA steel. I've asked for and have never received a certificate of origin for their lift materials proving their claim. They are not certified. Overpriced IMO.
Revolution - made by Rotary. A good, certified lift who's parts also come from offshore. A good alternative to Bend Pak if you don't value the adjustable width ramps or the air safety locks.

Mohawk lifts are hands down the best in the business. Look at a 9,000lb Mohawk compared to any other 9-10,000lb lift, no cables, no overhead structure & a lifetime warranty on the hydraulic cylinders. I have had (3) in my shop since 1996 with only 1 motor failure.
That being said, I have had a bend pack in my home Garage for 7-8 years, it's not even close to being in the same league as Mohawk but for a weekend warrior or even a small side business it's fine. The only problem I have incurred (so far) is the hydraulic hose the travels from cylinder to cylinder - popped, I replaced it with a gates 2 wire braided hose & it's been fine

Ive got a 12k 4 post Challenger, Louisville, Ky, its got a Made in USA on it (very-very heavy built, unlike most of the competition). Ive knocked down and assembled other lifts for people two and four post, and Ive worked in several garages, seen/worked around quite a few lifts. Lifts vary wildly in the amount and thickness of steel and design. Just because they have similar weight rating, doesn't mean much. Kind of like saying a dodge horizon will carry 2 people, so does a 2010 corvette, past the point of both having 4 wheels, they don't share much in common, lifts are the same way. Some are really hoky with cables, and safeties, some are really stout and simple without cables. If you do some hands on shopping, you will see the differences.
IMO, Mohawk is the bomb, by design and quality of materials plus the thickness of materials. I bought a new one in 1986 was used commercially lifting parcel Vans 7 days a week until around 1995, and sold to a friend who owns his own garage (I bought a new 4 post at that time), its his main lift and right up to today, 2010 it still runs strong with ZERO! repairs, although one cylinder is starting to leak. If you can afford a Mohawk, do it.

When I talked to BYB, they told me they use "North American" steel and it is not from the USA. Though a nice lift, it does not fall into the category of a 100% USA lift as they lead one to believe..
Mohawk and Rotary are top tier lifts that cost a premium. If you can afford one, you will surely be happy with it.
