I had a chance to go back to an old clients house and take some pics with furniture in. This project was a residence and I was commissioned to do 4 different tuscan suns, different in design and color. Let me know what you guys think.

This client was awesome. Once we settled on a theme, he gave me artistic freedom in regards to design, size and color. I beg for more work like this.

Very nice work and detail. How would you like to visit North Texas for a week this summer! I can keep ya busy! All the beer you can drink and I bet I could get a few of the soccer Mom's on my street to help with the BBQ!

Seriously though very nice job, if you were down this way I would hire you in a second over the stain guy I use.

Hey thanks guys. Jd, thanks for the invite. I've been to Dallas, loved it. Would love to get to know more of Texas.

By the way, this isn't stain or a polish, It's all metallic epoxy. This floor started as tumbled marble

We diamond ground it, 2 coats of concrete overlay to blur out the grout lines, then poured a metallic epoxy and marbleized it. I then drew and saw cut the design. Colored, grouted and sealed with a polyaspartic.

The floor doesn't have any non slip, it doesn't need any. It has as much traction as any marble tile.

Beautiful work. Curious how the epoxy holds up to the furniture legs and repeated dragging across it? If you've seen furniture move on tile after people plop their big (ahem) down on the chairs, you'll know what I mean.

With the right poly down, scratch resistance is high. Of course cleaning and maintaining is key as well. We always recommend for our clients to add felt to the bottom of the legs.

I just got back from another client where we did his restaurant about 3 or 4 years ago and it looks damn good. tables and chairs dragging, no problem. My stuff wears like iron.
