So here's a couple pics of my small detached garage in the middle of the city. I really need/want something larger since I can't fit a truck in mine. I can't even get my truck in because the hood almost hits the door.

Good job!
In my experience the "reorganizing" of any shop is an ongoing thing. As we add or eliminate tools and machines the space demands of our shop change. I don't see that as a bad thing though because as we gain experience working in our shops we recognize where even small changes can have a major impact on how easy or safe it is to work there.

Hi Clement, I love that seat you made. I also feel your pain because I too can't get my truck in my garage. It's not deep enough, only 19ft deep.

Lots of drawers--I like it!

That chair is truly a piece of work. Sit down and you'll never want to get up. Nice!

That chair has been through a ton of changes brought on by boredom. It started out as a cheap kitchen chair that was left in the garage when I bought the house, and then I decided I wanted to make it easier to move so out came the 2x4s and casters. Then when I redid the interior of my truck I swapped out the center console and affixed the cushions to the frame of the old kitchen chair.

Ya mine is only around 16x20 so not a lot of room, but I make do. I ended up pouring a slab outside and doing it all out there. I have been thinking of getting one of those garage in a box things and using it in the winter for long project and just throwing my heater out there to take the bite off the cold.
