I know there is a hot deals thread but, it is kind of cumbersome to sift through all the banter.

I f we had a hot deals forum it would be easy to review the thread header for and interesting item rather than have to scan through hundred of comments about something you aren't interested in in hope that you may find something.

You know? the header could read;

20% off all day at sears.com

or

Stricktly toolboxes is having a blowout

then, the comments about that topic will be filed neatly under a particular header.

Thanks for the consideration!

The hot deals will still be on page 2, since page 1 will be filled with threads where people complain about this or that order being canceled.

I say keep it as is.

Its been suggested -repeatedly- before and nothing has happened yet. In a way it is good having it the way it is as some 'sales' are based upon the number of web views e.g. amazon, and occasionaly deals get hidden in all the banter.

Exactly my point. If you don't get a chance to check for a while it is a lot of sifting.

I'm on a computer hardware forum and they do it as I suggested and it saves LOTS of time reading through posts to find a deal you may be interested in.

I get frustrated here and stop looking pretty quickly
