Really nice...just a little tip though: your flag should be switched so the blue area is on the other side...

Two cars is all I need. Thanks for the remarks about cleanliness, I use to race out of a one car, as you can tell it was cramped trying to hang a body on my late model. And now it is a lot organized also.
Thanks, Danny P.S. Flag is fixed I never noticed it but then again my boy hung it up. |

Are those all commercial tool boxes or did you build some of them?
Nice garage! |

The 4 in the corner are Lista boxes. I built the work benches out of 2" butcher block top and pressure treated 4x4 and 2x4. I also have a small 16x20 workshop on the property that I set up as a metal working shop. I have a tubing bender, notcher, 8' break, drill press and shop press all set up for building stock cars.

No problem, I am glad to promote respectful flag use.
For me the flag is more than a symbol, it represents the freedom and rights we enjoy as Americans. I am honored to represent America to foreign countries and I am humbled by those families that proudly display a folded flag on their mantel in memory of someone that has secured the benefits my family enjoys - the American way of life. I'm happy you enjoyed the site and hope others will also take the time to understand flag etiquette. R1chy |

Well, I finally got the ceiling raised in the garage and I'm slowly progressing towards finishing it off. Right now I just need to tape and spackle the ceiling, then I'm going to pull everything off the walls and primer and paint the entire garage.
While I was raising the ceiling, I decided to throw some more light on that side. I've got two 8' quad bulb t-8 fixtures running along the angled part of the ceiling, and another 4' over my work bench. This gives me plenty of light to work on the car. ![]() I'll have more pictures and details later.

sorry for the crappy pics, their off my phone.
The large section is 12' wide, by 17' long, its nowhere NEAR the size of some places here, but my project car fits perfect with about 4 feet on each side to work, and about 4 feet in front. That little jetout behind the tool box is a room in the basement that houses my compressor, blast cabinet, and a el cheapo electric oven for powder coating small parts. Garage has a 100amp sub panel which has proven fine to run both my welders, and all other garage tools. THe toolbox work area, is about 8ft x 12ft. Plenty of room for the bench, and small other projects there. In hind sight, I wish I had built a smaller work bench so I had room for some bigger equipment, but I may do that at a later date. The Cman box is filled with mostly older cman stuff, and i've been slowly upgrading its contents to snappy and matco. Its definatly not the garage I dreamed of, but for my first home, it is serving its purpopse VERY well, plus, the wife stays out of it. ![]() ![]()

Happy to see this thread resurrected, and happy to be back on here.
I've got an update on the slow progress of my space: ![]() I've started my bin collection, they'll eventually go into the pullouts, but the wall will have to work for now. ![]() ![]() the goal:

That's an understatement...your picture didn't display (although editing the text I see that you did try to install an image). Try again, that is unless you took a picture of a white garage in a snowstorm, in which case it looks great
