Well, my current home is a 2-car garage...but not for long.
In a few months our new home will be completed and I will have a proper 3-car set up. The third bay will be a dedicated work center for my tools. I have already posted (incorrectly), on the Free Parking section, sorry. Here is the link to my post. My 2 car garage - click here. ![]() But...to view what I am getting this year...see below.

All you need is some paint and it will look great.

Here's my somewhat larger-than-average 2-car garage (23.5' wide X 22' deep) into which I have stuffed my 3 car collection. With careful maneuvering I have enough room to open the GTO driver’s door to the first notch. I had to chop off and suspend the cabinets on the Corvette side to get it close to the wall.
Unfortunately, with no basements in Florida, our garages have to serve double duty storage needs. I am hoping to move the garden stuff out to a small storage shed (if I can find one that meets code and fits within our setbacks) to give me a bit more room. Future plans include Vinyl Composite Tile in the standard checkerboard pattern, a fresh paint job and possibly some new more “garage-appropriate” cabinets. The garage works fine as it is, although I have to pull one car out to work on one of the others. The one thing I really miss is comfortable hang-out space. I am thinking about pushing out a 8’ by 8’ niche (size dictated by setback lines) in the back wall which would leave enough room for a couple of comfortable chairs, a small cube fridge and a TV. I've only recently moved in to mine, so it is a work in progress.
From day one I said this would be a workshop, not for the drivers, so I have a couple of jobs lined up already! The bikes are Yamaha L2G 100 Street. The car is a 1962 Triumph Spitfire 4 I'll be starting the build of a 6' bench for across the back LHS this easter. I'm also planning a small mobile welding bench. Just a parts washer and sandblast cabinet and I'm set to go! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have these in a separate post, but wanted to add them to the "two-car" section as well.

No pics yet, but it looks like I am the only one who uses pegboard instead of drywall. It's not as clean looking, but it's what I was used to as a kid and it's just too handy to rearrange things without much work. When I moved into my current house it was half drywalled and half bare studs. None of the drywall has been finished yet either. I might try to do some painting this summer. Last summer was refinishing the deck and railing around the pool and I didn't want to see a paint brush for a long time after that.
