Is there even a Phillips drive size smaller than #0000?

Recently I just purchased a Phillips #0000 (Masterforce brand M237-7949) and I was told once years ago that Phillips #0000 is the smallest Phillips drive size in current production.

I realize that companies such as Wiha, Wera and others (Moody Tools for example) produce micro bits or Phillips J bits as well, but I can't seem to find a size smaller than Phillips #000 with either company.

So my question is, is there a drive size smaller than Phillips #0000? For example, a potentially fictional drive size such as Phillips #00000 or so.

Thanks for any help at all.

BHR4CRE1: Actually Phillips #0000 is the smallest. Here is a picture of my Masterforce Phillips #0000 screwdriver.

BHRCE1: More than happy to help. Here is the link to the product I showed an image of.

Here are several images compared to the Wiha 261 Phillips #000 I also own next to the Phillips #0000 Masterforce brand.

AHA! So they lied in the link I posted.

Thanks for clarifying.

It's a hollywood site, lying and misrepresentation are expected. It's ok, though, they do it because they know what is best for everyone else. They give awards for it and everything.

...but what would I use it for? ha

I think you're missing the point a bit there, Jeff. :)

Iwlobo: That Hollywood site didn't look really reputable anyway. Looking at Wiha's official website will tell you that Wiha only produces Phillips sizes up to #000. Here is the link. http://www.wihatools.com/200seri/261serie.htm

Also I bought this Masterforce Phillips #0000 screwdriver for a variety of uses, such working with eye glass screws (including older frames as well) variety of electronic devices to name a few.

Craftsman also has a Phillips #0000 screwdriver, but it's not well designed and is even larger than my Phillips #000 Wiha screwdriver and even my Phillips #0 drill insert bit.

Here is a link to the product I am talking about, but I can't stress this enough that you should not buy this at any costs. I did and was lucky enough to return this item for a full refund.

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00941645000P This is Sears Item# 00941645000 Model# 502-040C

I agree with the review on Sear's website on this product. Here is that review on the Craftsman Phillips #0000 screwdriver. These aren't my words, but rather this guy's words.

Title of the review: This is a piece of junk Date the review was published: August 26, 2010

"I don't know why craftsman workmanship is so poor when it comes to making these phillips screwdrivers. The tip of this one #0000 is larger than #0. It could not fit in any #0000 slot. I when back to Sears many times to look for another one, they are always out of stock. I guess that they cannot find a good cutting machine. Sorry but I won't buy anything like this from Sears."

Cons: Tip is even bigger than Phillips #0

At least this guy's Phillips #0000 didn't nearly snap in half the first time he used it like mine nearly did. Even though I was exceptionally careful.
