Default Any quality epoxy products that will coat ~1500 sqft(30x48) for under $400~Edit $500

The title pretty much says it all. I've got a 30x48 pole barn up now and I will have a pad poured in about two-three weeks. My concrete guy has a sealer product that he said we can put down for about $250 which will do a decent job, but he recomended epoxy if I can find a product I'm happy with and fits my budget. I put Rustoleum solvent based epoxy in my last garage, but I can't find the solvent based Rustoleum epoxy in my area any more.

The budget is really tight so the $250 sealer product is attractive, but if I can get a high quality epoxy to coat the floor with for $400 or less, I'd prefer to go that route.

Edit: Let's up the budget to $500.

Thanks
Wes

I used rustoleum professional kits and it is real good stuff. I don't know how heavy duty you need but in my garage it's A+. It came in two equal size gallon can. Simply pour both cans in a 5gallon bucket and mix. No measuring or anything. This new line of rustoleum is the way to go. If I had one complaint it would be I have some dull spots. I know you can buy a clear top coat but I didnt want a slick floor. I waited for my garage floor to age 9 years before coating,it wasn't a plan but it worked out good because my floor did crack. The rustoleum epoxy floor repair took care of the cracks, couldn't be happier.

The cheapest kits (RustOleum or Supercoat) I have seen have all been around $65 and they cover 250 square feet. So if you bought 6 kits you would hit your budget.

Budget adjusted to $500.

Any other products worth looking at for the extra 100?

Thanks
Wes

Thats a seriously tight budget for a 100% solids epoxy. Call me we may have a Lowe's store in your area stocking our product.

Research Aquapon 35 by PPG. I got a screamin' deal on it through a PPG store here in town - $100/2 gallons. That will cover about 500 sqft, in my experience. I put down 2 coats (4 gallons), and had a lot left over in my 450 sq. ft area.

Do you have any advice on where I could find a list of distributors of this product? PPG's website is a bit of a rat maze to navigate.

Thanks
Wes

PPG is also known as Pittsburgh Paints. They have retail and contractor stores (kind of like Sherwin Williams) in most large cities. Call around... not all the stores carry the Aquapon product.
