Yeah, it's called a disconnect box... lol...

If your compressor has a magnetic starter, you can wire a small switch up in-line with the coil. That's what I did on one so it had an on/off on the side of the starter box.

Haha! Figures! Perfect. Sounds like the way to go! Thanks!

Here's a non-fuseable disconnect/safety switch. Any reason this wouldn't work? Good to 60 amps.
