Default finally a good deal from sears

Well last month I was looking at the sears website and noticed some KILLER prices on some OTC tools so I took a chance and ordered some that said in stock. Here are the prices I paid.

OTC Deluxe Double Flaring Tool Set W/Cutter
Item #00971266000
Mfr. model # 6503 $29.69
Qty:1

OTC Set, Upper Bushing Service
Item #00971312000
Mfr. model # 7068 $10.79
Qty:1

OTC Kit, Fuel Injector Cleaning
Item #00971622000
Mfr. model # 7659 $14.39
Qty:1

OTC Gauge Assembly
Item #00971365000
Mfr. model # 7211 $31.49
Qty:1

OTC Snap Ring Pliers Kit
Item #00971782000
Mfr. model # 7888 $41.39
Qty:1

OTC 6 Pc Super Duty Handled Pry Bar Set
Item #00971902000
Mfr. model # 8206 $18.89
Qty:1

The total was $143.64 before shipping. I checked the pricing today on the same items and they had went way up. I added the same items to my cart and the total came to $1,205.94. It has been a little over a month since my order and so far I have recieved the snap ring pliers kit, pry bar set, and the double flaring tool set. Hopefully the others will come soon.

WOW! I took a look at the prices now too. Holy crap, you made out well! At those prices, you should have ordered multiple sets and then mentioned the deal here!

I'm thinking that Sears website ineptness enabled you to score a great deal and that you're lucky your items cleared the cart checkout process.

Thinking back I wish I had ordered a bunch of the prybar sets and sold them on ebay. The prybars are NICE. The largest one is 9/16 square steel and is 36" long. This link is just for the largest one. Over double what I paid for the set.

Heck the fuel injector kit is 554.99 right now on Sears website.

If you get it for the price you paid and they actually send it, you got it for a helluva deal lol

no wonder Sears is going down the tubes, they're letting this kinda of crap go on. Once I mremember they did something similar. I tried to exploit it, but they canceled my order. I think they noticed I ordered about 25 too many pocket mirrors (I was getting them for free!)

Crazy deal. I looked up all the numbers because I couldn't believe it.
How come everything didn't come in one shipment?

You should call and complain about the long shipping.

Ha wow that was a great deal! Man I have to keep a closer eye on the Sears site.

I'm a little upset with Sears because some stuff I ordered on Black Friday I got charged full price for instead of the sale price and I still haven't been credited for the difference yet.

Good possibility.

I ordered some items on Feb. 1st and finally received one of them yesterday. Although the other items are still showing "arriving in 5 days", the entire order is now showing as "completed".

Sears doesn't have a clue, and is blaming the delays on OTC.

Some guys in local CC auto tech school discovered that NH has mistakenly priced the Thunderguns on sale for $24.95 for on-line purchase. They were about to order and received about 25 before NH discovered the problem. This happened about one year ago.

I have called a few times about the shippig delay. They say its shipping directly from OTC. This is true confirmed by the shiping lable on the boxes. The snap ring spliers came friday and the prybars and flaring kit came yesterday. Hopefully the other stuff will trickle in.

What he received thus far is worth more than than what he paid, so he'd still be ahead by a bit.

Dispute it with your CC company and file a complaint with the BBB for quicker results.

What did you order? That happened with one of my orders a few months ago. It turned out that my order was "stuck in the system". Sears wouldn't cancel my order because it was "still processing" even two weeks past the "up to two day" period, so I disputed the charge with my CC company and filed a complaint with the BBB. I refused the package when it finally arrived and got a $10 gift card due to the BBB complaint.

I don't blame you for waiting to share your luck with us. =) I can still be envious as heck though!
