I am agonizing over what to put down on my newly built 6000 sq ft garage's lift bay room's floor. The room with the lift is 850 square feet and I have designed the pattern that I want (big Indiana University fan, so IU logo will be in the middle of the lift). My question is this. My floor will have a lot of white, red, black and graphite/gray in it, what do the plastic tile floors look like after a few weeks of real use? I am wanting a solid tile since I will not be washing anything in this bay. Can anyone post what 'DIRTY' tile looks like and let me know how fast they get dirty? The samples I received show foot prints the first time I stepped on them, of course, they show worse on the darker colors.

A couple of things to keep in mind if you are looking for the least maintenance floor to keep clean. Yellow shows scuffs, dirt, et the most of all colors and of course any light color floor will show dark marks or dirt. Dark floor will hide scuffs but show light dirt and dust.
Glossy Vs. Satin Vs. Open Grid - Glossy floors like our tuffshield are very easy to mop up and wipe away tar & oil marks, but like any glossy floor ( ours or epoxy) if you do have a scratch you will see it more than on a satin finish or open grid. The Open grid style flooring allows all liquids and road slop to flow through the floor leaving your garage looking cleaner all winter long. The original RaceDeck satin finish, is very good and hiding scratches as they get lost in the pattern . I am happy to send you free samples to look over.

There are 100's of photos of RaceDeck in use on this forum alone, one thing about the GJ members, they like to spend a lot of time in the garage working on their passion. :)
I found a few photos on a quick search and this post quote from G20V

“I hear a lot of people say "You can't use Racedeck in a working garage...." or "Oh you wouldn't want to spill anything on that!"... well, I have been and Chemicals. I've also degreased an engine bay in the garage. It was at night so I just opened the garage a couple inches to let the water / crud run out. WD-40, penetrant, brake cleaner, brake fluid, gear oil, it all wipes up in seconds. Jack stands. If I think about it I'll throw some OSB squares under them, doesn't always happen tho. I also use the hydraulic jack right on the floor.” Member G20V

If you are concerned about dirt showing... I would change up your logo and use the light allow color instead of white around your IU logo. I know it is not true to the logo, but in my experience the white on my floor is the first to show dirt. I sweep and then mop my floor with a just a little water every couple of weeks when I have the cars out to wash them. I purchased the Racedeck cleaner and restore product but have not actually used them yet. I was going to do a major clean / restore in the next month or two before winter. I do not do a whole lot of work in my garage, just mostly parking cars. Here is what my RD looks like after about 3 months since install with just a water + mop cleaning every few weeks.

I talked to a nice lady today at Race Deck, she suggested that maybe I go with the Tough Shield tiles for the logo and keep the perimeter tiles the original finish, this would make the logo 'pop' more + allow the white tiles to clean up easier. I am considering this option. Waiting on some sample tiles to come in, then hoopefully I can make a decision and get them ordered.
Thanks for the pics and advice!!

The white tiles of the regular finish will "clean up" just fine if you are willing to mop your garage floor every couple of weeks as I do. I was only suggesting the color change to light alloy as they do show a lot less dirt and most of the members here are not in the camp of mopping garage floors that often :) I also order the racedeck cleaner / maintainer product to do a more deep cleen and shine restore a few times a year. They come in gallon sizes and the sales rep said they have no real shelf life so should last several years as you only use a few ounces per application.

We do sell a lot of white tiles and every time I do , I tell my customer that white tiles are like white T-Shirts on my 6-year-old boy... They are very hard to keep clean :D

Our premium garage floor tile (looking at the rib and diamond I don't think its a big secret who makes it) does offer a stain guarantee. If you have a permanent stain, we will replace the affected tiles
