Yup, still investigating garden supplies and thought I would post up on some of my findings.
Waterright 50' garden hose
Bought a couple of these for the wife for various watering tasks, and must say how pleased I am regarding this purchase. The hose size is just a measley 1/2", but he tradeoff in weight is well worth it. Doesn't kink up, easy as pie to coil, and moving the hose to end use application site is effortless.
Rating on scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best): 9
There is a tradeoff in output with the 1/2" sized hose, but for most gardening or light watering tasks it is more than sufficient. While not a hose to wash cars, or equipment, this dude makes for an excellent patio hose and great gift idea for the lady in your life.
The end couplers are top notch and this company spares no expense in making a quality hose. Boasts on safe drinking quality of materials and usa made proudly in oregon.
After dealing with the craftsman black snake and flexogen 100' hoses for small watering tasks, I have made a discovery here that will be a life changing purchase. No leaning into this one pulling the distance, just a mere stroll while sipping on your favorite beverage shall suffice.
Hose colors come in colors that blend in to most environments.
Me giving a product a 9 is pretty large, as not many reviews I make will come close in comparision, the only tick was the decrease in water volume - but knew that coming in, so in all actuality, this product is a 10 for it's intended purposes.
Furthermore, i will guarantee that your wife will be estastic, and yourself (though may not admit) this will be the first hose you tend to grab.
