I am nearly set to go on my Epoxy-Coat install. I'm going to start with a prime coat of Aquapon 35 followed by the Epoxy-Coat. However, I am considering a clear topcoat as well. Has anyone topped their Epoxy-Coat with anything other than EC's clear? And, if so, would they recommend it?

For example, I see that Legacy has a single part urethane clear which is supposed to compatible and EC's is a two part. Is there a benefit to using one over the other (or another brand) as a topcoat?

Yes, our HD356VOC will work fine. Much easier to work with than polyaspartic/polyrurea for a DIY.
If you want a low smell clear urethane (CA ok) we have HD6000 too.

Good luck.

Would you or anyone for that matter mind educating me on the pros/cons of a two part urethane topcoat vs a one part?

A single part like our HD356VOC is not really a single part.
It reacts with the moisture in the air to instigate the cure.

Our single part MCU (HD356VOC) will meet and/or exceed any (2) part urethane in nearly every category.

Scotty,

If I placed an order for a gallon today. How soon could you ship it out? And where would it ship from? I already pushed the finishing of this project back a week and can't push it back another. It has to be done this weekend.

Oko, this is a crazy week.
Even if I get it out tomorrow it may not make it due to UPS back-ups which have already started.

They don't guarantee shipments.
