I have the craftsman lighted magnetic pick-up and inspection light. They might seem like gimmicks, but they work great when you have the space for them. That being said, the craftsman ones go on sale regularly for 1/2 off.

i grabbed a lighted magnetic pick-up for $5..i use this tool at work all the time and they have a no hassle warranty so when it breaks(and they always do)you bring it back for a new one for life..cant beat that for $5

Hm...maybe if we abuse the lifetime warranty enough, we can damage the Chinese economy and drive tool production back to the US!
