looks like raised panel ratcheting. These are far from professional, but a good deal if you like those wrenches.

I bought a few of these sets in the spring, they are garbage. Sloppy ratcheting, sharp edges. I should of returned them then.

Almost...if they were really on the ball they'd call them "Craftsman Professional XTREME."

Damn cheap compared to what they wanted for these originally.

I bought both the metric and standard sets at the Outlet a couple months ago, they were about $23 bucks per set. I returned them about two days later. Low tooth count on ratchet. Loud CLUNK, CLUNK, CLUNK, when using them.

I don't know what it is about these but I saw these In ace hardware and have been waiting for them to go on sale. Finally this $19.99 deal was cheap enough for me to justify buying them. I really like them though I'm not sure why. I just do.

The whole idea behind these were that the ratchet was suppose to be just as strong as a normal box end, thus being able to break away fasteners with a ratchet wrench. In fact, if i remember correctly, the retail packaging states something along the lines of "ratchet wrench with the strength of a box wrench". With no doubt, these are VERY strong ratchets, but in turn, are very low tooth count.

I think they would be interesting to own, but not practical to use.

I picked up a set at the $10.97 price point. Very disappointing IMO.

The ratcheting mechanism is very sloppy and if I push it just right, it will freely rotate BOTH directions :eek7:

. Unacceptable, even for $11.

Oh, mine have CRAFTSMAN INDUSTRIAL stamped on the side. The word professional is nowhere to be found, even in the documentation.

i got mine for free, but for $10, what exactly are people expecting? no, they aren't high quality. no, i won't care when the kids leave them out in the mud taking apart their wagon. yes, i will get a free replacement.

i'm all for buying quality tools, but i'm also not handing the neighbors 9-year-old snot bucket a set of snap-on. or his dad.

got mine today. they work fine. a little loose in one ratchet, but otherwise work as expected. comes in a tool roll.
