First off i'd like to thank Paul Bird on here and Eddies GTS for their informative install threads. I lurk on here a lot and don't post much but after seeing this lift I knew this was the one for me. With only a 28x32 garage I didn't want a post in the middle of it and I spend most of me free time working on cars, mostly s2000's, and occasionally bikes. I tried to get the EE6503 but had quite a few difficulties with getting one over seas (I think a lot has changed in the past few years). I ended up buying this Mohawk lift off a buddy of mine. very happy with it and it has a nice distribution block so I can only raise/lower one side at a time if I want to.

here is a pictorial of my Mohawk TSL-7 full rise scissor lift install

And a BIG thanks to my buddy rick for helping me out with the entire project.

Looks like a great install. Where did you get that Mohawk Lift? I never knew they made a lift like that?

Nice looking installation!

tc-cad, Looks like they were manufactured in a 2001-2002 time frame.
I have never seen this version before.

I got it from a friend of mine, used
I would love to find a lift like that. How many yards of concrete did you use?
5 yards

I love the look on the dogs face "can I poop in here"?

Great looking installation, I wish I could do something like that in my garage!

Looks great!

It's hard to tell from the picture, but did you drill into the existing slab for rebar to tie into the new stuff? If you didn't, I doubt you'll have any issues outside of cracking. But on mine, I tied it directly in so there wouldn't be as much of an issue with the new piece settling or sinking.

Having full height like that and zero footprint is awesome.

How did you determine the spacing bt the two lift?

Let's test your S2K on there. How much was it? Used, right?

yes, the rebar was drilled into the existing slab. there is 10" of concrete below the lift though and 18" on the sides so I don't think it would move even without it though

the lift has a set point of 32" between the tables, which works out perfect for the s2k because it picks up on the pinch welds.

I have just shy of 3000 into the entire project and not much left of cost in the finishing touches it still needs (unistrut, 3x3 angle steel, and come concrete anchors)

That is freakin awesome.

I have been looking for a used full rise scissor lift for some time.

Of course, now that you showed everyone how great it looks, I will NEVER find one.

Sweet install. Does the Civic fit on that as well? Wish I could find a civic in good condition. They were great little cars.
