do a search. There are a ton of threads on this. I think most of them are in the Garage section

I like rotary the best out of all I have used. most because of their flip up pad design. My buddy bought a bend pack for the home shop. It works fine, but I wouldn't buy one. I'm saving my pennies for a rotary in ground:drool:

Just finalized my order for a Bendpak from Babco today. Lift is shipping from Ontario so you'd likely be eligible for free delivery since you live there.

Installed Mohawk lift in my home garage over 6 years ago. Luv it!
Heavy duty design and construction.
Nice feeling when working under a vehicle knowing that you are safe.

I'm also starting to shop around. Bendpak seems a little beefier but also higher priced.
All the other companies i'm seeing seem to source from the same chinese company. Am I right? Atlas, direct-lift, technolift, even some rotary.
I even saw one company sell the same lift under two rebrand, one being 800$ more just because it was "certified". But when downloading both manuals, it was the exact same manual.

So, what makes sense? it'll be for home use, basic car maintenance. Nothing commercial but at the same time, I don't want something cheap or dangerous.

We have 4 Bendpack's here in our shop, they get the job done pretty good. They aren't no Mohawk or Rotary but those were a little out of our price range.

Put in a Mohawk about 6 months ago. I was gonna go with Challenger but decided based on reviews I have read to go with Mohawk. Things is build like a tank.
